Los ataques a comunidades indígenas por parte de los guerrilleros desencadenaron la reanudación de los operativos en tres departamentos en el país.

The attacks on indigenous communities by the guerrillas triggered the resumption of operations in three departments in the country.

El decreto, firmado por el ministro de Defensa, Iván Velásquez, el Ejecutivo ordenó "suspender el Cese al Fuego Bilateral y Temporal de carácter Nacional con impacto Territorial (CFBTNT) entre el Gobierno Nacional y el Estado Mayor Central de las FARC-EP en los departamentos de Nariño, Cauca y Valle del Cauca". Por ello, se ordenó "la reanudación de las operaciones militares ofensivas y operativos policiales a partir de las 00:00 del día 20 de marzo de 2024 en contra de las estructuras del Estado Mayor Central de las FARC-EP presentes en los Departamentos señalados".

The decree, signed by the Minister of Defense, Iván Velásquez, the Executive ordered "to suspend the Bilateral and Temporary Ceasefire of a National nature with Territorial Impact (CFBTNT) between the National Government and the Central General Staff of the FARC-EP in the departments of Nariño, Cauca and Valle del Cauca". For this reason, "the resumption of offensive military operations and police operations was ordered starting at 00:00 on March 20, 2024 against the structures of the Central General Staff of the FARC-EP present in the indicated Departments" .
