Como Argemiro Manuel Hernandez Ibarra fue reconocido el cuerpo sin vida que dieron a conocer las autoridades como la persona asesina el día jueves 3 de enero a primeras horas de la noche, los hechos ocurrieron en uno de los barrios del sur del municipio, En el barrio San Francisco, donde se halló el cuerpo, los presuntos asesinos huyeron del lugar sin dejar rastro, quienes dispararon con arma de fuego por el presunto robo de una moto. El occiso fue hallado en el barrio San Francisco de la Ciudad de Montelibano. La hipótesis que manejan las autoridades con relación al fatídico asesinato, se vincula con el urto de la motocicleta, los presuntos ladrones y asesinos, no tuvieron otra opción que dar de baja a Don Argemiro.
