La esperanza tiene nueva junta directiva, trabajando por las necesidades de la comunidad, Alex Tordecilla, presidente del ente comunal, celebró con la niñez de su barrio, el día de la independencia de Colombia, (el 20 de julio), un festivo cargado de recreación, donde participaron de la jornada lúdico-recreativa: el payasito Bamby show, en compañía de la fundación escuela de música Jubilo, las cámaras del canal 99, Henrry Guerra Padilla y las notas periodísticas de Luis Jaramillo Montes. Se dispuso de un castillo inflable para las niñas y un torneo de banquitas para los chicos, se repartieron dulces e hidratación para los participantes del evento.
