Following the hostile and anti-Semitic statements by the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, against the State of Israel, during the last week, exports from Israel to Colombia in terms of military security were affected.
En diálogo con el diario El Tiempo, fuentes del Ministerio de Defensa y las Fuerzas Militares indicaron que son tres aspectos en los que inicialmente se verá reflejada la decisión del Gobierno de Israel de suspender las exportaciones de seguridad hacia Colombia.

La más importante, según las fuentes consultadas por el citado medio, es que Colombia dejaría de recibir repuestos para los aviones Kfir, las aeronaves de seguridad de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana (FAC), y cuya vida útil finalizará en el 2025. “El tema de los aviones de superioridad aérea tienen un rótulo de seguridad nacional y no es fácil la información”, explicó uno de los oficiales consultados por el rotativo bogotano, quien a su vez agregó que “lo que es cierto es que desde hace varios meses, tres o cuatro están en tierra para mantenimiento y por falta de repuestos”.

original).
