ABUSO DE AUTORIDAD EN EL EJERCITO, MAYOR  ACUSADO DE ACCESO CARNAL VIOLENTO CONTRA UNA  MUJER DE 18 AÑOS QUE PRESTA SERVICIO MILITAR VOLUNTARIO.

Una grave denuncia hizo un sargento retirado y padre de una joven de 18 años que se encuentra prestando el servicio militar voluntario en el Ejército desde el pasado mes de febrero. El afligido exmilitar, le contó a revista SEMANA que su hija lleva cinco meses en la institución y fue, según él, violada por un mayor del Ejército perteneciente al batallón Ayacucho, de Manizales.

A serious complaint was made by a retired sergeant and father of an 18-year-old girl who has been doing voluntary military service in the Army since last February. The grieving ex-military man told SEMANA magazine that his daughter has been in the institution for five months and was, according to him, raped by an Army major belonging to the Ayacucho battalion in Manizales.

El Ejército reveló que se tomó la decisión de relevar del cargo al mayor que fue señalado por una joven militar, que se encuentra prestando el servicio voluntario, de haberla violado. “Sobre el presunto agresor, se ordenó el relevo inmediato de su cargo, como un mecanismo de transparencia, mientras se adelantan los procesos investigativos y una vez se conozcan las decisiones judiciales emitidas por las autoridades competentes, serán acatadas como corresponden”, indicó el Ejército.
