Colombia concederá 10.300 becas a dominicanos para ciencia y tecnología

 The Colombian ambassador to the country, Darío Villamizar, highlighted that this initiative is the result of “solid cooperation” between both nations. Colombiana will grant 10,300 scholarships to Dominicans in areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, among others, the Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) reported this Thursday.  

El embajador de Colombia en el país, Darío Villamizar, destacó que esta iniciativa es fruto “de la sólida cooperación” entre ambas naciones.   Colombiana concederá 10.300 becas a dominicanos en áreas de la ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería, matemáticas, entre otras, informó este jueves el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (Mirex) dominicano.

Entre las instituciones académicas colombianas que ofrecen las becas, en modalidad virtual, figuran el Instituto Colombiano de Crédito Educativo y estudios Técnicos en el Exterior (Icetex), la Universidad del Rosario, la Escuela de Administración Pública de Colombia (Esap) y la Universidad de Manizales.

Among the Colombian academic institutions that offer the scholarships, in virtual mode, are the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (Icetex), the Universidad del Rosario, the School of Public Administration of Colombia (Esap) and the University of Manizales.

Asimismo, la Universidad de Caldas, la Universidad Católica de Manizales, Manizales Campus Universitario, la Universidad Sergio Arboleda, el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), la Corporación Universitaria Santa Rosa de Cabal y la Universidad Autónoma de Manizales, de acuerdo con un comunicado del Mirex.

Likewise, the University of Caldas, the Catholic University of Manizales, Manizales University Campus, the Sergio Arboleda University, the National Learning Service (SENA), the Santa Rosa de Cabal University Corporation and the Autonomous University of Manizales, according to a statement of Mirex.
