EL PRESIDENTE, NICOLÁS MADURO, Y EL PRESIDENTE IRFAAN ALI, FIRMARON EL ACUERDO DE SAN VICENTE Y LAS GRANADILLAS

Al parecer la situación tensa entre Venezuela y Guyana llegó a buenos términos, el presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, y el presidente de Guyana Irfaan Ali, firmaron el acuerdo de San Vicente y las granadillas, celebrado el 14 de diciembre.

Apparently the tense situation between Venezuela and Guyana reached good terms, the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the president of Guyana Irfaan Ali, signed the agreement of Saint Vincent and the granadillas, celebrated on December 14.

Con él auspició del Primer Ministro de San Vicente y Las Granadinas y Presidente Pro-Témpore de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (Celac), Ralph Gonsalves, con la presencia de los mandatarios Nicolás Maduro y Mohamed Irfaan Alí, así como el Primer Ministro de Dominica y Presidente Pro-Témpore de la Comunidad de El Caribe (Caricom), Roosevelt Skerrit; con la representación de la Presidencia de Brasil, el Consejero Especial Celso Amorim. Como observadores, el Canciller de Colombia, Antonio Leyva Durán; el Vicecanciller de Honduras, Gerardo Torres Zelaya, y sendos enviados del Secretario General de la ONU, António Guterres.  Se firmó un documento de acuerdo entre las partes comprometidas para equilibrar las fuerzas y las intensiones de explotación de minerales y petróleo en el Esequibo. Nicolás maduro escribió en su cuenta de X la satisfacción por los puntos del acuerdo, que beneficiarán por supuesto las dos partes, además de las empresas extractivas PDVSA Y EXXON MOBIL, como las más destacadas industrias del crudo implicadas.

An agreement document was signed between the parties committed to balance the forces and intentions of mineral and oil exploitation in Essequibo. Nicolás Maduro wrote in his X account his satisfaction with the points of the agreement, which will of course benefit both parties, in addition to the extractive companies PDVSA AND EXXON MOBIL, as the most prominent crude oil industries involved.
