Jairo González conductor de motocarro desde hace varios años en el municipio de Planeta Rica, llevó una carrera como cualquier otra este sábado, de repente, cuenta Jairo, que la motocarro hizo un salto inesperado, estos carros sufren de eso, dijo,  no le prestó atención y siguió manejando subiendo la loma, de la carrera 12, con  normalidad, cerca de la calle 20, la gente le gritaba se está quemando!, se está quemando!, 

Inmediatamente, se detuvo, buscó ayuda, arena, agua, pero era demasiado tarde, unos vecinos del sector le auxiliaron, con un extintor, luego, la llamada de auxilio al cuerpo de bomberos no se hizo esperar, llegaron para ahogar las llamas, que consumían el vehículo, dejandolo solo en el esqueleto.

Jairo, un agente retirado de la policía, no tenía seguro, vehicular, estos carros funcionan diariamente por las calles del municipio, sin un extintor, tampoco, cuenta con póliza que le cubran los costos de un siniestro, es un momento difícil para este hombre que dependía del vehículo de tres ruedas para sobrevivir. 

Ojalá que esto sirva de alerta para revisar la seguridad de estos carros, con el apoyo de nuevo administrador de la oficina de tránsito, ya que estas personas del gremio viven del rebusque diario y algunos no alcanzan a hacer la tarifa de alquiler, sobre todo en estas duras épocas de principio de año, dónde queda, solo deudas y compromisos económicos por el fin de año.
